|Paint is chipped off of brick with electric
|The chipping hammers leave a nice rough
surface for the mortar to bond to.
A bonding admixture is added to the scratch
coat for insurance the mortar won't ever fail.
I believe this stucco will last 4,000 years.

Walls are straight. Note the temporary wood strips on the outside corners-These are used to straighten the walls.
|Window returns are "stripped" by nailing
1x4's to the wall and filling in.
|Window sills are stucco.
We already put on the finish coat,
white portland lime and sand colored
with color from La Habra stucco.
