Pastor Dave shows off the church's new gothic arch.
Styrofoam is for the moment.
Portland cement is for centuries.
First arch finished with 1926 splatter-dash.
|My first stucco shower and
first stucco floor.
Finished wall on bathroom
|We stuccoed Joel's
house over old "Salmon
brick". Joel said the bricks were ugly and had to go.
|Stucco columns torn off
|Lath and stucco soffits saved
quite a few houses in Miami during Hurricane Andrew. Lighter materials were blown off, allowing winds to get under the roof, blowing it off.

|A badly cracked stucco installation was saved
by resurfacing. The stucco was two years old, and
cracks in a grid about 2 feet apart.
Here, a thin portland lime and sand basecoat is applied.
|Stucco resurfaced with new portland cement and sand. I doubt and cracks will ever come back.|
