Large crack is cut out and a section is cut out for a new block.
These walls were hollow and the block joints weren't staggered very much.

Here's how we did it:
A new block is toothed in, and the wall is filled solid.
The wall is chipped about every 3-4".
A basecoat is applied using half flex-con and half water.
Basecoat is rubbed with a rubber float.
Top was formed by nailing one by's and filling in.
A special tool is made to run the tops.
Note how the top slants to one side for water to run off.
Top is filled and run with our tool.
Top is straight, and out of level to allow water to run off.
