Color plaster in Washington, DC
Elegant venetian style finishes are done with plaster.
Plaster walls-rock solid beauty.
We plastered over this nice old existing ceiling with a new color finish. The rest of the house is on new blue board. First, the ceiling is painted with plaster bonder and veneer basecoat is troweled on.
The curved angles are finished using a swimming pool trowel.

Color work is almost impossible to touch up. The trim was put on first to avoid damage to the finished wall. We taped off all the trim prior to putting on plaster.
