Paint is chipped off of brick bonding admixture is added to the scratch
Paint is chipped off of brick with electric
chipping hammers.		 The chipping hammers leave a nice rough
surface for the mortar to bond to.
A bonding admixture is added to the scratch
coat for insurance the mortar won't ever fail.
I believe this stucco will last 4,000 years.

Walls are straight. Note the temporary wood strips on the outside corners-These are used to straighten the walls.		 Window returns are "stripped" by nailing
1x4's to the wall and filling in.

We already put on the finish coat,
white portland lime and sand colored
with color from La Habra stucco.
