Pebble dash stucco addition
in Falls Church, VA

Here's how we did it:

Protecto wrap.

Protecto wrap is folded sealing the back side of the wood trim. Any water penetrating the stucco won't go behind the trim. Behind the trim is covered with house wrap.

Metal flashing over window.

Metal flashing is put on at a steep angle and the top flange is sealed with protecto tape.

Electrical panel is bolted to a board.

Electrical panel is bolted to a board. We flashed over the board and sealed with tape.

very horizontal trim board has flashing put on.

Every horizontal trim board has flashing put on the top. Here a layer of tar paper overlaps the top of the flashing.

Fuse boxes, receptacles, etc. are mounted on a trim board and we put on flashing.

Plaster stop over the foundation has weep holes.

Plaster stop over the foundation has weep holes drilled. Here we are putting on self-furring metal lath.

Dashing on the pebble mix

Dashing on the pebble mix. Everything is covered real good including the soffits.

Hose bibs are done the same way as the electrical penetrations

Hose bibs are done the same way as the electrical penetrations. Bib is mounted on a board, and flashing is put over top.
