Color cement stucco addition
in Rappahannock County, Virginia
A few notes about this project :
Existing house was finished with custom color masonry cement.
Weeps are made by drilling 3/4 inch plaster stop..
Stop with weeps is put on the bottom of the wall. allowing water to drain out.
A wood strip is set with a string line to form the outside corner, or arris. Screeds are set horizontally, using a string line.
Wall is filled in and rodded off between the screeds.
Corner strip is reversed, and the next wall is filled and rodded off.
Finish coat is Lehigh white portland cement, a little lime, and white sand. Sand is crushed quartz from US Silica.
Color is mixed in our liquid mix in a garbage can.
Putting on the finish coat.
Finished REAL color cement addition.
