When the cast concrete is slick or a little powdery, it
is a good idea to chip the concrete
to assure a good bond. We had a couple areas that needed chipping,

Stucco conforms to curves well, and will bond
permanently to concrete with a chemical bonder. I have seen stucco applied directly to concrete with out a bonder and it will fail eventually. |
