Stucco done by the competition replaced in Washington, DC
This wing on an 8 year old house had severe rot, due to the fact they put the rubber membrane roof on after the stucco was done. Photo shows the original stucco cut back, roof membrane put on, and copper counter flashing.
Windows on the most of the house needed replacement. The windows didn't have flashing on the top.
Synthetic finish is brittle and badly deteriorated after 8 short years. The house had a one inch thick cement basecoat and a fake (synthetic) finish, which doesn't last.
After the framing is repaired, two layers of tarpaper and metal lath are put on. Of course, we put on a REAL cement and sand finish.
