Re plaster in Falls Church, Virginia
Plaster walls-feel the quality !
Vaulted ceiling in living room. The balcony adds a Spanish flair.
Curves like this side wall on the vault are impossible with drywall.

Before: Walls had a rough texture that had been patched umpteen times and had peeling paint.
Loose areas are knocked off and walls are painted with pink
original Larsen's Plaster Weld.
Plaster Weld is a bonding agent invented in 1953.
Next, walls are coated with veneer plaster basecoat, A plaster basecoat that is made to be put on thin, but is super hard.
Veneer basecoat is left rough for a good bond for the finish.
Roof had leaked over fireplace for years. Crumbly plaster was stripped off. The stones and bricks are painted with Plaster Weld, and wood framing is covered with metal lath.
Durable plaster resists abuse in high traffic areas like stairways.
The finished fireplace curves into the ceiling.
Stucco replaced in the Brookland area
1926 house looks like new. The finish coat is REAL white portland and REAL white sand. We added a small amount of color.
Taking the scaffold down
Foundation made from homemade concrete was crumbling.
Painted foundation walls are chipped and prepared.
Finished foundation has a seamless appearance.
Tearing off the old stucco shows why it failed.
We custom made the flashing over the windows.
Brown coat is rodded off with a six foot rod.
Leaking window fixed
Bronze statue of an Indian looks on. This is a well known historic house.
Flashing was put on upside down and backwards. The windows leaked like crazy whenever it rained.
Stucco on bay window replaced
Years of the roof leaking at the edge damaged the stucco. Of course, we fixed the roof.
Just like 1909 again.
