Re stucco on this Spanish Style House

Another historic house re stuccoed in Cleveland Park. The finish coat is REAL cement and REAL sand with color added.
You may remember the house next door.
Walls were chipped up and prepared to be re coated. We cut the stucco back and put on a counter flashing
on the metal roof.
Color variations show off the real cement finish. The sills are white portland and white sand.
Vinyl siding replaced with stucco

Siding was constantly getting torn up by strong winds.

Historic Stucco replaced

Old 1927 stucco was in sorry shape.
Stucco replaced with real stucco. Finish is natural cement and silica sand.
Pebble dash stucco addition

Pebble dash kings rock another addition.
Color plaster fireplace

Color plaster is made on the mortar board. We are using molding plaster, lime and fine silica sand.
The color is a paint tint. We use real plaster and not marmorino.
Troweling techniques produce a finish that is unique and elegant..

A major patch project was created by upgrading the electrical and HVAC.
Bump in wall is straighted by removing the wood lath to add space.
Chevy Chase stucco remodel

Project was to stucco over several block panels.
Finish coat is REAL cement and REAL sand. Color is added using a paint color.
Finish is white Portland and Q-Rok, graded crushed quartz from US Silica. The finish is mixed with half number 1 (fine), and half
number 2 (medium).
A close up shows the texture effects of using 2 grits of sand.
